Abstract
O fracasso escolar, expresso em repetência e evasão, está associado à origem social do aluno mas tem a explicá-lo toda a complexa realidade educacional apresentada pela pesquisa. Os resultados deste trabalho reforçam a importância das variáveis internas à escola na determinação deste quadro. As condições escolares têm influência especialmente nas séries iniciais onde a concentração de alunos mais pobres é maior.Downloads
